Wolfpack Wrestling is a 501c3 nonprofit that was created in 2024 to teach competitive wrestling and to help young people become thoughtful, disciplined and impactful members of the community through the sport.

The cost of wrestling is $100 per season. This includes all practices, coaching, and entry fees for tournaments. Financial assistance is available for those in need.

Folkstyle is the style wrestled in the US in high school and college. The olympic styles, Freestyle and Greco-Roman, are what is wrestled on the international circuits and post-college.

Most tournaments in high school are run with weight classes. Most middle school and youth events are run with a weight grouping system.

No. No one is required to compete. All tournaments and events are optional, with encouraged participation.

Yes! 2024 was the first year for SBHS Wolves Wrestling.

USA Wrestling cards can be purchased on the USA Wrestling website. Once a membership has been purchased, you must go into “manage profile”, in which you will be able to see a place to affiliate with a club(s). You can search our club by state/name, or by club ID. Our ID is #2400164502. By acquiring a USA Wrestling card, you gain access to all different kinds of camps/clinics/tournaments in the area and across the country.

Tell your friends, family, and classmates! Wrestling is for anyone and everyone.

It is not something to worry about, but you should be aware of. Sweat and bacteria from the mats can cultivate into rashes on the skin. Wolfpack Wrestling requires all its athletes to shower and wash with an antibacterial soap immediately following every practice. The mats are also cleaned immediately following every workout.

Wrestling shoes and headgear are required during most tournaments. Wrestlers are responsible for having shoes, while all the other equipment will be accessible through the club.

Yes! Come in, meet the coaches and the kids and see if it’s right for you. When possible, please reach out in advance to let us know your coming and a bit about you in advance.
